SPY CAMP 14th May 2010. Students were invited to become members of different government agencies whose job was to complete missions of paramount importance to the national security of the United States of America and Europe. The agents trained to become spies through a series of tasks whilst piecing together information about the terrorist who was on the lose.

Different gadgets were designed by each group who then presented their ideas in an attempt to sell the new models to a mysterious character.

Throughout the camp the terrorist struck several times but was finally unmasked and apprehended by the students.

Terrorist Update by Santiago Corchero.

May 15th. After messing up our rooms last night, the Terrorist hasn't been seen by anyone around the camp. International spy agencies are trying to catch him at this very second. This morning we found the Conference Marquee messed up - chairs and tables all over the floor! Anyway, a clue was found there: the Terrorist must have let a pen slip out of his pocket, so he may not have his pen now. We recommend those spies staying at The Village this weekend to keep an eye on everyone around. Remember it could be anyone: counsellors, teachers, or even students! We spoke to some of the spies to find out what they thought of camp........

'We're all having fun here. We are watching Meghan all the time, we think she herself may be the Terrorist. Yesterday, the Terrorist stole my dress for the Casino Night, but fortunately he had left it under my bed!' by Giselle.

'My agency is in two minds between Martin and Stephen. We wonder where he may be at this moment. We hope he's left, so that we all calm down at the camp!'

'I really love playing hurling, though it's not known in my country. We're having fun with Lorcan at the Green Marquee. It's cold outdoors, by the way. I hope we get a warming dinner soon!' by Julian.

First Impressions by Mauro Germàn Cersòsimo

At first, when we arrived and took our things out of the bus. We were welcomed by Kris. He started talking in English with one of the teachers who came with us. At this moment we can say that it is not strange, but after a long and exhausting trip full of speaking in Spanish you would not agree with that. That is why some of us were confused, others felt nervious or scared, but when things started going on, our minds really changed. We were told which agency we belonged to, which counsellor each group had and we swore not to speak in Spanish in the camp. Then we went straight along a corridor, where Martin gave us our ID`s and Megan and Christy checked our bags. Later we checked into our rooms, left our things there and as we were so hungry we rushed to the restaurant. We had a really nice meal and received some useful instructions about how the camp works, which made us feel relaxed. After that we played some games and sang songs... we felt so comfortable that it was like being at home.

The hotel and the rooms by Noelia Perez

First the hotel is very beautiful because it has a lot of facilities; it has a lot of green areas that you can use and know very well. Second, I write about the rooms, the hotel has more than fourteen rooms, which are very comfortable and beautiful, there you can see DVD Movies because you have a DVD Player.

Casino Night by Yanina Moreno

The night that everyone is most looking forward to, will have a lot of smart people. They will be commenting on each other clothes, and especially women!! They will be wearing smart dresses and the guys will be wearing suits. The games that people will play are poker, blackjack and roulete, and they can gamble their money away. The most expensive food and wine will be served. Don't miss this wonderful night!

The food by Daiana Miño

The restaurant is very nice and comfortable. The people that work there are very friendly. Yesterday, for lunch we ate beef and mashed potato, with spinach sauce. There were pears with custard for dessert. For dinner we ate quiche ham and cheese, and chocolate brownies for dessert.Today, for breakfast we ate pancakes with maple syrup and toast. There was coffee, milk, tea and fruit salad. For lunch we ate chilli con carne and strawberry cheesecake. All the food was really delicious. I recommend this restaurant, the place is beautiful.

Martin's curious adventure

Did you happen to see Martin this afternoon? After a thorough investigation, we found out that Martin didn't want to dress up as a lady, at first. But, since there wasn't a man in the group , he kindly offered to help. The girls provided some of their clothes. He was enjoying it so much that he ended up improvising some gorgeous large breasts!
